Unstoppable Movie with Denzel Washington and Chris Pine

Unstoppable is an upcoming action thriller movie directed by Tony Scott and starring Denzel Washington, Chris Pine, and Rosario Dawson. The story is about a runaway train of hazard materials that they can't stop. The film will be released on November 12, 2010.

"The story centers on an experienced train engineer (Denzel Washington) who’s about to be laid off as part of company cutbacks. Chris Pine (’Star Trek’) plays the young conductor hired to replace him. They find themselves in a race against time to stop an unmanned, half-mile-long freight train carrying enough combustible liquids and poisonous gas to wipe out a nearby city."

Cast:
- Denzel Washington as Frank Barnes, a veteran railroad engineer
- Chris Pine as Will Gordon, a young train conductor
- Rosario Dawson as Connie Hooper, a train dispatcher
- Kevin Dunn as the boss of Dawson's character
- Jessy Schram as the wife of Pine's character

Denzel Washington must have a thing for trains! Hard not to think about his previous film 'The Taking of Pelham 123'... Unstoppable is a new story though: the script was penned by Mark Bomback (Live Free or Die Hard) and is loosely inspired by a true event that took place in Ohio in 2001.
